Gallery Front-of-House & Sales Associate (Seasonal)

Position Overview The Gallery Associate is a key front‑of‑house team member responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging experience for visitors while supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the Ali Gray Gallery. Responsibilities Collector Engagement & Sales Greet visitors and provide a warm, welcoming gallery experience Speak knowledgeably about artists and available work Support and complete sales transactions with collectors Build positive relationships with collectors and visitors Represent the gallery professionally in all interactions Operations & Gallery Support Support daily gallery operations to ensure a smooth and efficient environment Assist with opening and closing procedures Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually polished gallery space Provide support during exhibition installation and transitions Assist with basic administrative and organizational tasks as needed Help ensure necessary supplies and materials are stocked and accessible Marketing & Community Engagement Support promotion of receptions, exhibitions, and special events Assist with the distribution of marketing materials to local partner organizations and businesses Help ensure strong visibility and attendance for gallery events Position Details Duration: May – October (seasonal) Schedule: Approximately 10–30 hours/week, with increased hours during peak season (June–August) Weekend and evening availability required Compensation to be negotiated Please send a cover letter indicating your interest along with a resume to View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Ptownchamber
