Responsibilities Communicate kitchen issues with management throughout the day Read and write notes in English in the manager’s daily log Attend weekly managers and monthly staff meetings Read weekly memos and complete employee evaluations Coordinate with all managers on duty at shift end Report all events honestly and accurately Comply with policies, rules, and manuals Attend quarterly supervisor meetings Maintain current food management certification Demonstrate ownership mentality and flexibility in scheduling Willingness to transfer geographically, possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Schedule vacations between April and November Order supplies, formulate pars, and have basic math and computer skills Understand health code standards and adhere to policies Conduct timely interviews and provide performance evaluations Ability to see, speak clearly, listen, taste, and smell Read and write English; stand and move for up to 4 hours; work 50-55 hours/week; lift up to 50 lbs.; operate kitchen equipment; adhere to dress and grooming policies Benefits Competitive starting salary Five-day work week with two consecutive days off Paid vacation after 1, 2, and 10 years Health insurance (medical & dental) 401K plan with immediate eligibility (must be 21+) Advancement based on performance Personal days and free shift meals Job Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Restaurants Referrals can double your chances of interviewing.
