Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – NICU RN – Travel Nurse TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13‑week assignment in Oklahoma, OK. Specialty: NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12‑hour nights Employment Type: Travel Location: Oklahoma, OK Pay Package: Based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job ID: 1418940 Responsibilities Provide critical care to sick and premature infants. Assist with round‑the‑clock care in collaboration with the care team. Offer parental support, ranging from emotional encouragement to advising parents on infant care at home. Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life. Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary. Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings. Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs. Provide arterial and intravenous therapy. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators. Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Lift 10‑20 pounds of equipment as needed. Identify and mitigate hazards from chemicals and infectious diseases. Requirements 1–2 years of recent acute‑care experience, with preference for NICU background. BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required. Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.
