Machine Shop Helper
Start your career with a growing manufacturer in Tualatin as a Machine Shop Helper.
This is a long term, full-time with a company who custom designs and fabricates machine parts for the semiconductor industry. They are one of only a few companies who makes these parts so this is a great opportunity to get in with a niche company.
They are seeking a Machine Shop Helper to cut and prepare metal components to precise specifications while supporting daily production operations in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Machine Shop Helper Responsibilities:
- Cut metal to spec using blueprints
- Read and use measuring tools accurately (tape measure, layout tools)
- Grind, drill, tap, and countersink materials as required
- Perform light welding and mechanical assembly tasks
Machine Shop Helper Qualifications:
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read shop drawings, including weld symbols
- Strong math, layout, and measuring skills
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Schedule: Monday – Friday 1p-930pm
- Consistent overtime, periodic Saturday
Pay: $20-23/hr depending on experience
Location: Tualatin, OR – not public transit accessible
