About the Position

Medix has partnered with a premier healthcare facility to find a dedicated PET Technologist for a high-impact travel assignment in El Paso. As a trusted healthcare clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nuclear imaging while delivering compassionate patient care. In this role, you will operate GE Discovery IQ and GMI scanners in a high-volume center, managing 8-13 scans per shift while navigating Athena scheduling, Mosaic charging, and Carestream PACS software. Schedule Details Work Week: Staggered 4x10 shifts (Shift 1: 6:30 AM – 4:35 PM, Shift 2: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Shift Hours: 10 hours per shift (40 hours per week). Responsibilities • Perform dedicated PET scans using GE Discovery IQ and GMI imaging equipment. • Manage patient volume of 8-13 scans per shift in collaboration with Medical Assistants. • Execute administrative and charting workflows using Athena, Mosaic, and Carestream PACS.

Requirements

• Nuclear Medicine Certification via ARRT or NMTCB
• Active Texas State License
• Active Hazmat Certification (or obtained upon arrival)
• Oncology background and Athena/Mosaic/Carestream experience (Preferred)
