Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Hospital is seeking a locum CRNA to provide independent anesthesia coverage at our Endoscopy Center. This role supports the department during a period of short staffing and offers a stable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities.

The CRNA will work independently in a dedicated endoscopy setting, providing MAC anesthesia and managing cases per day. Ideal candidates are experienced, reliable, and comfortable practicing autonomously.

• Practice Setting: CRNA
  Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• No Trauma Designation
• No Pain Management Cases
  Average Number of Cases Per Day: 10-16
  Description of IR Support Staff: The CRNA will work with a dedicated Endo Center.
  Patient Age Demographic: Adult, Geriatric

Procedures Required:

• Endoscopy cases
• MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care)
• CRNA solo cases
• EGD with biopsies, if necessary
• Colonoscopy with biopsies, if necessary
• Combined: EGD/colonoscopy
• 10-16 cases per line.
• 08:00 4:30 pm

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-120 days.

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified in AANA: REQUIRED
• Active State Medical License (Michigan)/ Will Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License: REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS & PALS Certifications: REQUIRED
• Local Provider Only (mileage reimbursement only): REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice & License History: HIGHLY PREFFERED
• Copy of the NPDB, self-query requires at presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED
