RN Lactation Consultant NICU

About This Role The RN Lactation Consultant in the NICU is responsible for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients, demonstrating initiative and clinical skills in managing patients with complex needs. This part-time role is ideal for a registered nurse with experience in neonatal care. Highlights Pay: $41.71 - $105.65/Hourly Location: Boston, MA Facility: The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. Schedule: Part-Time, Rotating shifts What You'll Do Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate a plan of care for specific patient assignments. Set priorities when organizing care for patients with varying acuity. Maintain continuity through clear and concise communication. Document patient care in compliance with nursing documentation standards. Develop comprehensive plans of care and educational plans for patients and families. Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care and revise as needed. Participate in quality management and improvement programs. Administer medication safely according to established policies. Collaborate with other disciplines and uphold the A.N.A. code of ethics. Participate in the orientation of new staff members and provide input into clinical evaluations.
