Job Overview: Gastroenterologist with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. This position offers a 12-month contract, starting on January 1, 2025, and concluding on January 1, 2026.

Location: Luling, Louisiana, United States

Start Date: January 1, 2025
End Date: January 1, 2026
License: Willing to license for January start (Compact License not required)
Credentialing: Hospital privileges and credentialing required

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts only (8-9 hours per shift)
• No weekend or night call
• 100% procedural role, handling 12 to 16 procedures per shift with 1-2 inpatient consults daily
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities

Procedures and Skills Required:

• Proficient in standard endoscopic procedures including EGD, push enterostomy, PEG, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
• DEA and Controlled Substance Permits required

Support and Facilities:

• Endoscopy/OR unit support staff including RNs and techs
• Anesthesia support staff available for all procedural sedation
• EMR: Epic
• Additional Information:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology required
• Internal name clearance required prior to client submission
• COVID vaccine not mandatory
