Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician position in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures, including scrub, passing supplies, and setting up and taking down procedure rooms. Candidates are required to bring their active Illinois license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Peoria, Illinois

• Schedule: 8-hour days, 4 days per week, with call requirements (7-9 shifts in 6 weeks); shifts are during the day.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support) and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); a minimum of 2 years of experience in an interventional radiology setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information:
  • Department features 6 labs including pre-op and phase 2 recovery, with an average of 20-30 cases per day.
  • Common patient diagnoses include vascular, neuro, drains, and lines.
  • Job duties include scrubbing, passing supplies, and setup/takedown of procedure rooms.
  • Equipment includes EPIC electronic medical records and Phillips monitors.
  • There is a Charge RN on each shift from 07:30 to 17:00, who manages cases and covers lunch breaks.
  • No floating required; either cath lab or IR.
  • Dress code: Provided.
  • Shift notes: 8-hour days with call.
