Position Summary Reporting to the Vice President, Clinical Operations and in a matrixed reporting structure to the health system Executive Director, Clinical Institutes, the Director of MemorialCare Orthopedic & Spine Institute (MOSI) and MemorialCare Neurosciences Institute (MNI) at Long Beach Medical Center will provide strategic leadership, program oversight, and integration across physician and nursing triad partners. The role includes development of business strategies, operational plans, and execution of quality, service, and regulatory compliance initiatives across multiple specialty centers. Essential Functions Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care programs, services, and practice models, identifying business objectives, capital and resource needs, and operating revenue and expenses. Develop and monitor fiscal plans, including revenue enhancement and cost‑efficiency initiatives, operating and capital budgets, and service line profitability. Collaborate with physician dyad partners on program development and continuous improvement, promoting clinical excellence, revenue growth, and cost efficiency. Partner with departmental leaders to create new patient care pathways and practice models, including space allocation, personnel organization, and transition of care from pediatric to adult campuses. Evaluate, recommend, and secure technologies that advance institute and patient care outcomes, in partnership with imaging and perioperative departments. Create and monitor infrastructure, systems, processes, and standards to achieve desired outcomes, in collaboration with medical directors and leadership. Oversee data collection and analytics, ensuring quality metrics and regulatory measures are tracked, and lead performance improvement initiatives. Participate in business planning aligned with the overarching strategic plan, collaborating with nursing leadership and other departments. Manage programmatic staff, ensuring recruitment, training, and evaluation aligned with hospital goals. Guide business growth plans, outreach programs, and community relationships, partnering with marketing and business development teams. Implement physician alignment strategies and support recruitment initiatives. Assist in payer, employer, and industry designation efforts, such as centers of excellence and bundled payment models. Participate in organization or system‑wide committees to ensure alignment with goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Qualifications / Work Experience Minimum 7 years' relevant experience preferred. Minimum 5 years' progressive leadership experience preferred. Experience as a leader with demonstrated outcomes in program development and performance improvement. Demonstrated experience in building successful relationships at all organizational levels. Education / Licensure / Certification Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Master’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
