RN/Telemetry PRN Tier IV - $55 an hour

Registered Nurse

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Minimum Education: Graduate of a Program in Professional Nursing required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including week-ends and holidays to insure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required or within six (6) months of hire.

Licenses: Registered Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact State required.

Minimum Work Experience: Minimum 18 months RN hospital experience. Minimum three shifts a week.

Hourly Rate - $55.
