ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2022 and currently lead a team of five. Prior to entering the insurance industry, I worked in government contracting with a staffing agency. I’m originally from Maine and graduated from the University of Maine before moving to Florida in 2020. Outside of work, I’m a husband and proud dad of three daughters, and our family also includes a dog.

Giving back and staying connected locally are important to me. I’m involved with the Chamber of Commerce, mentor young people through a local program, and volunteer with Bread of the Mighty Food Bank around the holidays.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Mitchell Burgess - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
