Part-Time Faculty - Vocational Nursing (South)

Part‑Time Faculty – Vocational Nursing (South) Teach vocational nursing related coursework and support delivery of the program through part‑time instruction. Classes may include evening and weekend sessions. Faculty may be required to attend on‑site sessions, depending on curriculum and student needs. Part‑time faculty are hired on an as needed basis and are not entitled to the same rights, privileges, and benefits as full‑time employees. Responsibilities Provide instruction in nursing courses, prepare lesson plans, assess student performance, and contribute to curriculum development as needed. Required Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. At least three (3) years of direct or related work experience in nursing (excludes teaching). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing. Previous teaching experience in an L.V.N. program. Salary Salary Grade: AH. Salary is based on the Board‑approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. Salary Schedule is available.
