Compliance Analyst

Compliance Analyst (BCO Control Testing & Monitoring)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join the Business Control Office (BCO). This role is critical in ensuring the implementation of consistent risk control frameworks and the execution of 1st-line control testing and monitoring programs to maintain a strong control environment.

Role Overview

• Pay Rate: $40.00 - $50.00 / hour (W2 Only)
• Contract Duration: March 16, 2026 - July 15, 2026
• Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)
• Employment Type: W2 only. No Corp-to-Corp (C2C), no 1099, and no third-party candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Control Testing & Monitoring: Support the establishment of control monitoring routines and conduct rigorous testing to ensure a robust control environment across the Americas Division.
• Process Deep Dives: Conduct root cause analysis and "deep dives" into existing processes to identify vulnerabilities or inefficiencies.
• Business Unit Collaboration: Interact effectively with various Business Units to understand current processes and controls, helping to remediate any identified gaps or findings.
• Process Mapping: Develop detailed process maps to visualize workflows and enhance control design.
• Effectiveness Assessments: Assist in the design and execution of control effectiveness assessments to ensure risk mitigation strategies are functioning as intended.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in risk management, compliance, or internal audit within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of 1st-line control testing and risk control frameworks.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and translate complex processes into clear process maps.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse Business Units.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet project deadlines within a hybrid environment.

  The BCO is responsible for ensuring consistent risk control frameworks and efficient risk controls. The Control Design and Monitoring function specifically focuses on the overall development and execution of the 1st-line testing program to protect the integrity of the group's operations.
