Job Summary

At Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our facility, ensuring a positive experience for our residents and staff. We offer a full continuum of care, from temporary respite care, to long-term skilled nursing, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to join our team.

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, common areas, and public spaces, adhering to infection control policies and procedures

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces

• Change linens, towels, and mattresses as needed

• Restock supplies and restock drawers with fresh linens and toiletries

• Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, and folding linens

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by reporting any hazards or issues to management

• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations

Housekeeper Requirements:

• One year of experience working as a laundry aide or housekeeper preferably in a healthcare facility

• Ability to stand for long periods and move around facility

• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control practices

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
