Job Opportunity: Full-Time Neonatologist and Nocturnist

We are looking for dedicated individuals to fill Full-Time Neonatologist and Nocturnist roles within the Division of Newborn Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary clinical duties will be conducted in the 46-bed, Level IV NICU at our facility, which is part of one of Manhattan's busiest obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine programs, handling over 8,000 deliveries each year.
• Additional clinical roles are available in the Level III non-surgical NICU at another location and in the NICU Developmental Follow-Up Clinic.
• Engage actively in the division's clinical, educational, and research initiatives.
• Provide mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Exhibit strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a 3-year Pediatric residency program accredited by ACGME.
• Eligibility for a New York State Medical License.
• Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Meet the qualifications for an appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine.

Compensation and Salary Information

The compensation for this position ranges from $225,000 to $350,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits.

In accordance with New York City’s Salary Transparency law, the organization provides this salary range. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as experience, specialty, historical productivity, and community needs. Therefore, the final salary may be closer to either end of the range or, in some cases, may fall outside of it. This salary range pertains to full-time employment and does not encompass bonuses or benefits.
