Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Envision LED Lighting is seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our fast-paced distribution team.This hands-on role supports daily shipping and receiving operations, including quality inspections, forklift operation, inventory accuracy, order verification, and product movement throughout the warehouse.This role is a strong fit for someone who can work with urgency while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, safety, organization, and teamwork.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments, verifying products and quantities against purchase orders and receiving documentationIdentify and report shortages, damages, incorrect items, labeling issues, and other product or receiving discrepanciesPick, pack, verify, palletize, label, stage, and prepare customer orders for parcel and freight shipmentPerform quality and accuracy checks on incoming products and outbound orders, including product condition, SKUs, quantities, packaging, and labelingSafely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and stage productSupport inventory accuracy through proper product handling, put-away, replenishment, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigationsMaintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and quality documentationKeep shipping, receiving, storage, and staging areas clean, organized, and safeFollow established warehouse, quality, equipment, and safety proceduresCommunicate product, inventory, quality, or operational issues promptly and accuratelyWork collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping, receiving, and fulfillment goalsTake ownership of assigned responsibilities, adapt to changing priorities, and assist across warehouse functions as neededProvide warehouse and distribution support as needed at a nearby secondary facilityQualificationsPrevious shipping and receiving experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment requiredPrevious forklift operating experience requiredExperience with receiving inspections, quality checks, QA/QC, or product verification strongly preferredHands-on experience with order fulfillment, freight handling, palletizing, and inventory movementStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify product, quantity, packaging, and documentation discrepanciesDependable work history with demonstrated reliability and consistent attendanceStrong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive and accountable approach to workAbility to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy, quality, and safety standardsAbility to understand and communicate in English as needed for safety procedures, shipping documentation, product identification, and team communicationFamiliarity with inventory systems, RF scanners, WMS, Lean/5S practices, or warehouse safety standards is a plusWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical warehouse work throughout an 8-hour shiftAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Ability to safely operate forklifts and work around moving warehouse equipmentAbility to climb stairs or ladders and work at heights up to 8 feet when necessaryFlexibility to work occasional overtime during peak periods #J-18808-Ljbffr
