Hiring Immediately; weekly earning potential around $2400+ w/ bonuses

Full-time & Part-time 

Wisconsin is where elections are won and lost, often by just a few thousand votes, and this November is no different. The governor's office and control of the state legislature are on the line, and with them our fight for reproductive freedom, strong public schools, fair wages, and a democracy that works for all of us. Every new voter we register is one more voice standing up to Trump's agenda. We'll hit the busiest streets and gathering spots in our communities, stop people where they are, and walk them through registering to vote, building an electorate that truly reflects the diversity and power of Wisconsin. This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in Leadership, Public Speaking & Persuasion, Grassroots Organizing, Voter Registration & Civic Engagement, Team Management, and Data Collection, all skills that carry over to careers in politics, nonprofits, and sales.

Get paid well! Canvass positions start at $23/hour. Leadership positions start at $25/hour. We offer a $1/hr bonus to staff who are bilingual in English and Spanish. We also offer overtime, and many bonus opportunities. Total weekly earning potential is $2400+ when you meet all requirements for bonuses.

Locations: Eau Claire, Beloit & La Crosse, WI

We are hiring immediately ; all positions run through November 3rd, with possibilities for advancement afterwards. Shifts run from 10:45 a.m.–6:30 p.m., every day of the week, with the possibility to work part-time or full-time.

Canvasser Responsibilities ($23/hr):

• Approach people in busy public areas and talk with them in a friendly, respectful way
• Share a compelling message and help new voters complete accurate, valid registrations
• Take part in ongoing training to sharpen your outreach skills
• Strictly follow all local, state, and federal voter registration laws
• Stay on your feet outdoors for your full shift, in all kinds of weather

Team Leader Responsibilities ($25/hr):
Everything above, plus:

• Lead a small team of canvassers in the field, checking in throughout the day and debriefing at the end of each shift
• Make sure every canvasser has the materials they need to be safe and successful
• Help directors with training and administrative work

Prior voter registration experience is strongly preferred but not required. Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply!
