Bender Fabricator

Position Overview Job Title: Jamb Cell Operator Location: Denton, TX 76207 Shift: 1st shift, M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm Pay: DOE Onsite at Anchor Fabrication, LLC – a precision metal fabrication company. Responsibilities Perform all functions of sawing, bending, welding, and milling metal pieces while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Set up jobs by reviewing job packets, setting angles and stops, exchanging dies, and adjusting tension to operate saw, bending, welding, and milling machines. Inspect finished work for conformance to specifications. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment or process issues, making adjustments as necessary or consulting supervisors and quality control. Qualifications Mechanically adept with a strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and work under schedule demands. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Computer literate. Proficient at reading precision measuring instruments and interpreting blueprint drawings, sheet metal drawings, customer drawings, diagrams, weld symbols, and other instructional materials. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a changing environment to achieve common goals. Knowledge of shop practices and operations, including metal hardness factors and first‑in, first‑out material rotation. Flexibility to work in other areas as needed. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior manufacturing experience in a metal forming environment.
