Amerhart, an SBP Brand, is currently hiring for Material Handlers to join our values-based organization to perform all duties associated with shipping, receiving, and stocking warehouse material. As a member of the Operations team, offering to help others when the workload demands, treating teammates with respect and care, and performing work in a safe manner according to safety policies and procedures is critical. This role will be based in our Marshall, MN facility. Starting pay wage of $20.00/hour. 1st shift hours are from 6am - 5pm CST. In this role you will focus on:

Responsibilities:

• Unload common carrier trucks and railroad cars and replenish product in the designated location in the warehouse.
• Pick orders using a forklift until the order is completely filled.
• Report any problems such as shortages or damaged material, etc.
• Inquire with sales team member when orders cannot be shipped as ordered and make changes as directed by sales.
• Use handheld scanner when receiving product, picking orders, loading trucks and cycle counting in accordance with Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Management System (WMS) Coordinator on questions and updates.
• Band, wrap and prepare material for safe shipping.
• Arrange orders on trucks according to safe weight distribution practices.
• Follow safety procedures and policies when performing warehouse duties.
• Performance of miscellaneous functions

Fill orders for incoming customers.

Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning warehouses/yard.

Inspect the forklift prior to daily operation to avoid equipment problems and malfunctions in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Cross train and back-up others in warehouse.

• Working knowledge and techniques associated with organizing and setting priorities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years warehouse experience required with some experience in a distributorship preferred.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Proven ability to work as a member of a team.
• Must be able to work scheduled shift: Mon - Friday. 6:00am - 5:00pm CST.
