Business Consultant

Position Summary Business Consultant (Part‑time) located in Sumter, South Carolina. Salary: $24–$26 per hour. Work hours: 22.5 per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a flexible schedule as needed. Responsibilities Provide counseling and deliver programs to individuals, businesses, communities, and other public agencies within a designated geographic territory. Collaborate with private‑sector businesses to help them become leaders in their local markets. Develop specific areas of expertise in business development and apply this knowledge by creating training programs, consulting tools, and research projects responsive to the community’s needs. Travel across multiple counties may be required to serve the assigned area. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency in financial analysis, business research, marketing, accounting, and use of computers and MS Office. Strong research, analytical, creative problem‑solving and public‑speaking skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Willingness to travel across multiple counties. Ability to develop training programs and consulting tools.
