Ultrasound Tech Acute Care Per Diem
Location: Lakewood, CA
This per diem ultrasound technologist role invites you to contribute essential imaging expertise in a fast-moving clinical environment where patient care and teamwork are at the forefront. You will perform a broad range of ultrasound studiesgeneral, abdominal, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, small parts, and vascular Dopplerdelivering clear, diagnostic-quality images to support clinicians. We're seeking candidates with at least two years of experience who hold ARRT or ARDMS certifications, BLS, and recent Epic experience, plus the ability to provide strong supervisor references. Weekend availability is preferred, and you'll participate in a comprehensive orientation and ongoing training to stay at the forefront of ultrasound technologyapply today.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience
- ARRT S or RDMS AB or ARDMS RVT
- BLS
- 2 Supervisor References from a work assignment within the last year
- Must have recent Epic experience
- Experience in Inpatient ER Level I Trauma Portables
- VISAGE KNOWLEDGE
- Skills: General Abdomen OB/GYN Renal/Pelvis Small Parts Vascular
- 1:1 Orientation Details: Complete 8hr orientation shift weekday during week Epic Test Out remotely along with required modules if Epic test out fails
- Complete 12-14 hours of pre-start modules
- Must live within 50-mile radius
- 1-year separation policy from UCI Health
- Flu declinations accepted required to wear mask at all times if no flu vaccination on file during flu season
