The Momofuku group is comprised of restaurants and bakeries located in the US, Australia, and Canada, a magazine, and an equipment manufacturing company. Fuku is Momofuku's version of a fried chicken sandwich shop. We are exploring what that means to us, but one thing we believe in is our spicy fried chicken sandwich! L ocated at the previous home of both Momofuku Noodle Bar and Momofuku ko, it is our first fast casual concept. As momofuku grows, we believe in finding young and driven talent to grow with us. We are currently looking for Team Members to join our growing Fuku concept! We are looking for all-star Team Members who are excited to represent the Momofuku brand while delivering the Fuku experience to guests with pride & integrity! About the Job Our Team Members are the Jacks & Janes of all trades at Fuku! Whether it be frying chicken, assembling sandwiches or enlightening guests on the Fuku product, you will be tasked to master all stations. Some things you'll accomplish:- Hot and cold food preparation. Preparing, frying and assembling our fried chicken sandwiches, fries and veggie options
- Responding to high customer volume with accuracy and consistency, ensuring quality food is being served in a timely fashion
- Following proper food handling and sanitation protocol while preparing and cooking food as well as with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Greet guests, take orders, serve guests, and maintain a clean dining area
- Maintaining a professional demeanor and providing a friendly customer interaction in our open kitchen & behind the counter
- Multi-tasking in resolving customer inquiries while working during a fast paced service
- Speaking and selling Fuku products with enthusiasm and confidence!
Skills & Requirements
- No previous cooking experience required!
- Previous quick service, fast casual experience a plus
- A combination of BOH and FOH food service experience strongly preferred!
- A team player with a proactive, positive attitude
- An eagerness to learn quickly and reach for new challenges
- Uncompromising work ethic, a can-do attitude in accomplishing any task
- Enthusiasm and commitment to serving quality, delicious food in a hospitable manner
- Comfortable working in a fast paced restaurant
- High school diploma
- Full time availability strongly preferred
- Recent culinary students & entry level cooks are encouraged to apply
