Branch Manager

About the Role Lead and manage a team of associates in delivering breakthrough client service, attain growth goals by developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones, ensure branch operations are efficient and compliant with guidelines, manage branch P&L, growth targets, portfolio and expenses, maintain satisfactory audit results through sound operational practices, partner with cross‑functional leaders within Retail and across the bank to provide meaningful client solutions aligned with Retail business strategy, demonstrate knowledge of core products and the bank’s Business/Consumer Financial Review process, develop and maintain long‑term relationships with consumers, public figures, businesses and charitable organizations in the local community, and embody and lead the bank’s core values in interactions with associates, customers and shareholders. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of associates in delivering breakthrough client service Attain growth goals by developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones Ensure branch operations are efficient and compliant with guidelines Manage branch P&L, growth targets, portfolio and expenses Maintain satisfactory audit results through sound operational practices Partner with cross‑functional leaders within Retail and across the bank to provide meaningful client solutions aligned with Retail business strategy Demonstrate knowledge of core products and the bank’s Business/Consumer Financial Review process Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with consumers, public figures, businesses and charitable organizations in the local community Embodies and leads the bank’s core values in interactions with associates, customers, and shareholders About You High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s, bachelor’s, vocational, or technical degree in banking, business, or related field preferred; at least 3 years of prior banking experience, including consumer lending and exposure to business lending origination; at least 2 years of management experience in banking or retail, including team leadership, coaching, daily supervision, labor law compliance, performance management, hiring and termination; extensive knowledge of banking products and services with demonstrated business acumen; proficiency in consumer lending, prior exposure to business lending, and ability to manage deposit and loan portfolios; membership in local community organizations, demonstrating commitment to community leadership; strong attention to detail and ability to multi‑task effectively; proficient use of spreadsheets and banking computer systems; ability to operate office equipment and perform repetitive tasks such as counting cash, typing, and handling documents; compliance with all federal, state, and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination, including the SAFE Act; must act as a Bank MLO and be required to register as an MLO; not authorized to act as Closed‑End MLO; position limited to open‑end transactions (home equity lines of credit) only; notary certification preferred. Compensation The pay range for this role is $29.80 – $39.74 per hour. The selected candidate’s pay will depend on a variety of non‑discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The position may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, details of which will be provided during the recruitment process.
