Outside Sales Representative

Overview Critter Control Operations is seeking a motivated and dynamic Wildlife Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is crucial in expanding our customer base and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wildlife management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities Critter Control Operations provides wildlife removal, exclusion, and damage repair for residential and commercial properties, delivering safe and responsible solutions to nuisance wildlife and pest problems. Key duties include: Grow sales and generate new accounts in your assigned territory by responding to leads and uncovering new business opportunities through networking and referrals. Perform interior and exterior inspections of customers' properties, including roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and other confined spaces. Serve as a problem solver for customers, utilizing training to determine the most efficient solutions for each situation. Create and present detailed proposals and contracts for wildlife removal and prevention services. Collect payments and follow up on past‑due balances. Provide technical and logistical assistance to field personnel as needed. Perform quality‑control visits and follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory service. Develop relationships with customers, sister companies, and external businesses to create new sales opportunities. Benefits Competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus. Valid driver's license. Availability to travel up to 10% and to Atlanta within 30 days of start date. Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in pest control, roofing, construction, or route‑based businesses. Ability to work independently in the field. Proficiency with several software applications; experience with Salesforce is a plus. Work Environment Drive to various locations, often covering large territories. Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas. Work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow). Ability to climb stairs and ladders safely. Frequent crouching, kneeling, bending, and stretching. Capable of carrying and using equipment necessary for inspections and minor control measures. Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
