Machine Operator

Pay: $24/hr - $28/hr

Shift: 3rd

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join a growing production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment to ensure high-quality products are produced safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, hands-on, and comfortable working with equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate production equipment according to job specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Load materials and ensure machines are properly supplied during operation.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Complete production orders on time and communicate any delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate production logs and basic reporting.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist with packaging, palletizing, and general production support as needed.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment quickly.
Ability to follow instructions, read basic measurements, and work from job specs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic troubleshooting or maintenance experience with equipment.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.
• Basic computer/data entry skills.
• Mechanically inclined
