Job Description:

Disburses approved loans and acts as a signing witness on loan documents. Provides outstanding customer service and resolves member inquiries and issues. Accepts consumer loan applications and supporting documents. Interviews loan applicants to gather necessary information for loan processing. Assists with ATM balancing and replenishment. Secures, maintains, and balances cash drawers and ensures accurate cash handling. Handles transactions received over-the-counter, by mail, email, and telephone. Maintains an adequate supply of credit union forms and documents. Performs routine clerical tasks such as filing and document preparation. Processes member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, money orders, and checks. Opens and closes member accounts and updates account information as needed. Cross-sells credit union products and services to meet sales and service goals. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Assessment/evaluation and verification. Ability to balance figures, compute totals, and verify calculations. [Required]

Ability to input data. [Required]

Problem identification and resolution skills. Good communication skills with member service orientation. [Required]

Strong working knowledge of applicable account, deposit, and consumer loan policies, principals, regulations, etc. [Required]

Computer knowledge including that of all Microsoft Office applications. [Required]

Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance and other regulations and laws related to the position. [Required]

Must pass Credit Union bond check [Required]

Education:

High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

Field of Study: N/A

Work Experience:

1+ teller experience within a bank/financial institution. [Required]

2+ banking/ financial institution member service experience [Required]
