Certified Nursing Assistant- Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (Pace)

CNA Position

Sentara Pace is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a CNA.

Position Status: Full Time- Day Shift

Position Location: Home base is Norfolk, VA. This position is 90% out in the field, providing care at patient homes throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake. Mileage reimbursement is paid for any miles driven between patient visits.

Pay Range: $16.92 - $25

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

Performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.

Education:

• Graduate of a state approved Nursing Assistant program/Trade School program (Required)

Certification/Licensure:

• For applicants having recently completed an approved Nursing Assistant Program/Trade School program, state CNA certification required within 120 days of hire. New hires with existing state CNA must be in good standing.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
