Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The shift is a combination of three 12-hour days from 07:00 to 19:30. The nurse will be required to work every other weekend, totaling two weekends per month. Requests for time off (RTO) are limited to five days, with a maximum of two consecutive days. Requests for time off will not be approved on weekends or holidays. Floating to other areas is a requirement, and staff may be moved to various units as needed. The facility supports mandatory floating to ensure appropriate staffing across all units. Clinicians can expect to float outside their primary competency when necessary. References from recent employers are required before starting. The nurse must maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism. There are certain high-risk procedures and protocols that the nurse must be familiar with. Ongoing communication and responsiveness regarding assignments are essential for success in this role. This position will involve assisting with high-risk deliveries and managing patient care. Please ensure to fulfill all compliance and credentialing requirements promptly.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of high-risk obstetrics experience

Current state license required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, NIHSS

Must-have: High-risk OB experience
