Claims are hard enough as it is.What We NeedProvide prompt, courteous and high-quality customer service to all policyholders and claimants by answering customer calls, filing claims, and resolving customer requestsGather necessary information from customers to initiate the claim and explain policy, coverage, and appropriate course of actionManage an inventory of claims, establish initial reserves for all potential exposures, and adjust as appropriate throughout the claimInvestigates, determines coverage of loss and adjusts all elements of commercial property loss claimsAbility to write appraisals for dwelling repairs or coordinate with a team of field appraisers to review accuracy of appraisal written by IAExplains coverage of loss including coinsurance, assists policyholders with itemization of damages, and mitigation steps.
