Join a company driven by quality products across an evolving range of industries.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Image Quality Tuning Engineer II contributes to the development and improvement of Gentex vision products by creating and executing tests and data collection to define changes for improving image quality for Gentex’s various product lines. Location: This position requires on-site work at Gentex facilities. This role is not eligible for remote work.WHAT YOU’LL DODevelop a practiced understanding of various image signal processing (ISP) pipelines and their supporting tools.Finetune ISP pipelines to achieve high quality results.Collaborate with various Software Development teams to implement changes for various ISP pipelines.Collaborate with stakeholders to meet the unique image quality needs of various product use cases.Contribute to the process of data collection, analysis, and evaluation of results, combining both objective and subjective feedback to drive image quality improvements.Interface with ISP providers as needed for image quality concerns.Create and execute automated and manual testing.Support customer feedback and tuning efforts on various programs.Other duties as assigned.HOW YOU’LL DO ITProblem Solving - Defining a problem, determining the cause, identifying, prioritizing and selecting alternatives for a solution, and implementing a solution.Individual Efficiency – Effectively managing time and resources so that individual work is completed efficiently. WHAT TO BRINGBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.2+ years of professional experience involving image quality analysis.
