Hours per Shift: 4-10 hour shifts Monday through Friday with rotation of call every 3-4 weekends, along with 1 night of call per week.

Certifications: BLS (AHA)

Must-Have: 2 years recent experience BLS - must be AHA RCIS, RCES, or ARRT required Scrub experience in EP and Neuro cases

Description: Candidates must be competent in coronary stent interventions. Primary responsibilities include scrubbing for cardiac angiograms/interventions and vascular endovascular procedures. Experience with peripheral vascular angiograms/interventions, pacemaker implants, and device cases is preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including positioning and quality control. Key procedures include left/right heart catheterization, pericardiocentesis, and intra-aortic balloon pump insertion/removal. Experience with electrophysiology devices, PFO and ASD closure, and electrophysiology ablations is desirable. Equipment utilized includes EPIC, CUPID, and GE MAC Lab/Cardio Lab reporting systems. Proficiency with sterile technique and scrubbing is required. Candidates must perform in a multi-disciplinary team environment and may float to other units as needed. The unit has 8 cath lab rooms with 1 procedure room. A tailored orientation will be provided based on the candidate's level of experience. Candidates must badge in and out upon entry and exit. Scrub color is provided.
