Stroke Neurohospitalist Position

Location: Akron, Ohio

Our organization is on the lookout for an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to become part of our esteemed Neuroscience Institute located in Akron, Ohio. This role provides inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off schedule for 23 weeks each year, promoting a healthy work-life balance while ensuring continuity of patient care.

This is a remarkable chance to contribute significantly within a well-coordinated, multidisciplinary team. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with specialists in Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular procedures, and Critical Care Trauma, ensuring a seamless transition from emergency treatment to recovery. Our medical group consists of nearly 700 dedicated providers working together to enhance the health of the Northeastern Ohio community.

Candidate Requirements

  • Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology.

  • A current unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain one to practice in Ohio.
