Civil Litigation Law Clerk Externship - Hybrid

PJI Law, a boutique, busy, and fast-growing law firm in Fairfax, Virginia, is offering an enriching, in-office Externship. This role presents both challenging and rewarding experiences for law students seeking to sharpen their legal skills. As a law clerk, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our civil litigation attorneys. If you're a law student eager to apply your classroom knowledge in a practical, real-world legal environment, this externship is for you. Your duties as Law Clerk would include: Assist in organizing and managing extensive case files related to civil litigation. Draft legal documents, including memoranda, motions, and briefs under the supervision of an attorney. Conduct legal research using various resources to support case preparation and strategy. Work closely with attorneys and legal support team members on civil litigation cases. Requirements: Enrollment as a 2L or higher in an accredited law school. A minimum GPA of 3.0. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent research and writing abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and legal research software. Minimum hours required: 120 hours Benefits: $25.00 per hour. Work-from-home Mondays.
