Job Opportunity: Full-Time Neurologist

Our organization is a physician-led multi-specialty group with over 650 providers, currently in search of a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist. We are looking for a dedicated professional who values a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. This position focuses on inpatient care, specifically for stroke and general neurology patients, at our Time Sensitive Emergency Level 1 (Comprehensive) Stroke Center located in Boise.

Schedule

The work schedule for this role consists of a 7-day work week, with two weeks of day shifts (Monday through Friday, including Saturday and Sunday) each month.

About Our Neuroscience Institute

The Neuroscience Institute at our facility fosters teamwork among a diverse group of specialists, including:

• Neurosurgeons
• Neurologists and Vascular Neurologists
• Neuroradiologists
• Neuropathologists
• Neuro-otolaryngologists
• Physiatrists
• Neuro-ophthalmologists
• Oncologists

Our Boise location is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, while Nampa holds a Primary+ Stroke designation. The Boise facility features a Fellowship-trained Neurocritical Care (NCC) unit, which includes:

• 18 Neuro/Trauma ICU beds
• 17 Neuro step-down beds

The NCC operates under an attending service model, while the Neurohospitalist team provides consultative services for acute care and leads all brain attack activations during their shifts. Additionally, our telestroke hub-and-spoke model connects six emergency departments and six independent regional hospitals.

Support Services

We offer a well-established outpatient neurology clinic and an inpatient neurology program in Boise. Our team includes employed interventional radiologists for procedures, stroke coordinators, and comprehensive elective interventional neuroradiology services, which encompass:

• Biplane angiography
• MRI/MRA
• CT/CTA
• CT perfusion
• 4-vessel angiography
• Interventional procedures for stroke, fistula, ICAD, and aneurysms

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in Neurology; Fellowship in Neurohospitalist Stroke or Neurovascular is a plus
• Board certification or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment
• Eligibility for Idaho medical licensure, OR telehealth license, and privileges at our organization and affiliated hospitals as required
• Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
