JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for developing maintenance programs and plans for preventive and corrective maintenance. Manages the work order and maintenance tracking systems. Responsible for establishing survey and inspection programs. Maximizes the utilization of maintenance resources, responsible for spare parts strategy. Ensures warranty issues are resolved. Participates in the preparation of the maintenance budget, providing cost estimates for the projects; monitors costs against budget. Supports turnaround activities; assists in development of critical path plans and budgets. Provides information for weekly and monthly reporting requirements. Ongoing communication with operations management and procurement staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Individuals in these roles have a functional knowledge focus and are primarily responsible for achieving results through their own work and through teams that they may be part of. Requires the application of theoretical knowledge typically gained through formal education (i.e. a postsecondary degree) and on the job training.. Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles. Growing/Building knowledge of company, processes, and customers. Exercises judgment within defined policies and practices to determine appropriate action. Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require moderate expenditure of resources to rectify. Works under moderate direction. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects.
