AS400 Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AS400 Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IBM iSeries (AS/400) development, including RPG IV/ILE, CL, and DB2/400. You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting business applications running on the AS400 platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the AS400 platform using RPG IV/ILE, CL, and SQL
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform system analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Support and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and other developers
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Maintain technical documentation and provide user support and training as needed

Required Skills : • ?5+ years of experience in AS400/iSeries development • ?Proficiency in RPG IV/ILE, CL, and DB2/400 • ?Strong understanding of SDLC and experience with data modeling/performance tuning
