Equine Sports Medicine & Ambulatory Veterinarian Position Overview
Seeking an Equine Veterinarian to provide ambulatory and sports medicine services with a strong focus on racetrack medicine, reproductive services, and general equine care. Optional opportunities are available to treat select zoo and exotic animals. This position offers a collaborative environment, strong mentorship, and an established caseload with excellent earning potential.
Practice Overview- Ambulatory equine and reproductive medicine practice
- Primary caseload includes racetrack horses, local barns, and equine reproductive services
- Optional care for select zoo and exotic animals
- High-producing practice with an established client base and significant growth opportunities
- Collaborative team with experienced mentorship
- Personal work vehicle provided

- Diagnose and treat sports medicine, reproductive, and general medical conditions
- Perform field visits to racetracks and local barns

- Collaborate with an experienced veterinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Strong interest or experience in equine sports medicine, ambulatory practice, and reproduction
- Compassionate, client-focused approach to care
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
