Senior Experience Designer - AI

Our Senior Experience Designers craft digital experiences people love to use. They are collaborators and innovators who thrive in multidisciplinary teams — comfortable starting from a blank page and not afraid to get their hands dirty making the vision a reality.

This role is centered on building, scaling, and governing a cohesive design system for our suite of AI-powered tools — used across internal platforms and packaged as client-facing products. You'll play a key role in defining and maintaining the foundations, components, guidelines, and processes that keep our tools consistent, usable, accessible, and trustworthy as they evolve. As part of a team that includes UX, visual, and content strategists and writers, you'll help shape our approach, drive high standards, and make sure we apply systems thinking to all our work.

Responsibilities include:

• Build, scale, and govern the AI design system
• Strengthen and multiply the design team
• Design AI-enabled experiences
• Champion Responsible AI, Trust, and Accessibility
• Partner across teams

Qualifications must have:

• Experience building and scaling design systems
• A portfolio full of beautiful, usable experiences designed across devices and contexts
• Hybrid design chops: strong UX fundamentals paired with refined visual design craft
• Experience designing AI-powered products
• Curiosity about AI tools and trends
• Mastery of visual design principles
• Serious attention to detail
• 3-5 years designing digital products
• A robust portfolio across devices and platforms

Strongly preferred:

• Advanced prototyping capabilities
• Holistic thinking through user flows
• Understanding of human-in-the-loop design principles
• Good design judgment
• A design sensibility that integrates ethics, accessibility, and transparency
• Strategical thinking across full user flows
• Comfortable sketching and riffing ideas

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of front-end concepts (HTML, CSS)
• Agency, product, or platform experience
• Background in HCI, Human Factors, or interaction design
• A formal design education and meaningful experience leading design work in the industry

Compensation Range: $66,120- $97,440 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
