Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelor\'s Degree
• EE/CS/ME degree
• Two years of patent prosecution experience as well as three years of engineering and/or research experience
• Registration with the USPTO

• Hybrid with some in-office expectations or remote (as appropriate).

Salary and benefits

The firms expected hiring range for this position is $100,000-$205,000 per year depending on the candidate\'s geographic market location. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate\'s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).

Property and Technology Practice, Patent Development and Strategies

Responsibilities

• Drafts patent applications.
• Drafts responses to USPTO office actions.
• Works closely with attorneys for patent preparation and prosecution.
• Drafts instructions to foreign patent agents in response to office actions.
• Maintains a detailed understanding of products and technical developments.
• Conducts patentability studies and drafts related assessments.
• Provides technical support for opinions, diligence projects and litigation.
• Other duties as assigned.
