VFR Pilot

Job Summary PHI Air Medical (operating under CAMTS guidelines) seeks pilots for AS350 VFR/NVG aircraft in a 24‑hour day/night rotation. Applicants must complete a 1‑year minimum service requirement (replacement service requirement of 2 years if relocation); relocation package available. Responsibilities Perform line pilot duties per Guest Operating Manual. Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero and other safety campaigns. Adhere to PHI Air Medical policies and participate in community outreach programs. Assist in loading and unloading of patients and equipment (some lifting required). Work with internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous and reliable service. Qualifications Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings. First Class Medical and CAMTS requirement. 2,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 hours on helicopters, 1,000 hours PIC helicopter, 500 hours turbine helicopter, 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 unaided + 100 NVG hours. Weight restriction: individual weight not to exceed 235 lbs. Strong communication and internal/external customer service skills. Pre-placement physical exam (functional capacity exam, ability to lift 100 lbs), drug screening and background check. Schedule & Location 7/7 day, with base schedule changes and possible schedule changes. Must reside within a 1‑hour commute of the base. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay, shift bonuses, shift incentives, annual safety bonus, annual employee bonus, and a sign‑on bonus up to $50,000. Relocation package provided.
