Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate machine that bends metal structural pipe to a predetermined straightener specification. Make adjustments via control system Monitors conformance to engineering parameters Set ups as required for various diameters of pipe. Must be able to use a tape measure and micrometers. Must be able to read work orders Must be mechanically inclined. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Maintain a clean work station Must have safety as a priority. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: Education: High School or equivalent Years of Experience : 2 - 3 years' experience in industrial environment Number of Direct Reports: None Job Titles of Direct Reports: None Skills and Abilities: Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Skills and Abilities: Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use HP programs such as e-mail, ERP system, etc. The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers.
