Industrial Systems Project Manager

We are currently seeking an Industrial Systems Project Manager for a client based in Grand Rapids, MI. This position is available due to expansion and offers the chance to oversee projects from start to finish while prioritizing safety, schedule, customer satisfaction, and profitability.ResponsibilitiesManage projects in the industrial systems sector from initiation to completionCreate project plans, oversee timelines, and coordinate resourcesTrack project costs, monitor profit margins, and ensure project profitabilityEnsure compliance with safety regulations and customer-specific requirementsCollaborate with customers to understand their needs and support future business opportunitiesGenerate estimates, budgets, and quotes for project-related resourcesPresent proposals clearly and facilitate the move from opportunities to projectsProvide guidance to team members and encourage improvement in project execution and estimating practicesRequirementsEducational background in engineering, construction management, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience in managing projects related to industrial HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical systems, or constructionFamiliarity with project planning tools and techniques like Gantt charts and CPMCapability to manage project costs, profitability, and schedules while focusing on customer serviceKnowledge of industrial system components, with ammonia experience as a bonusUnderstanding of safety standards such as OSHA, EPA, and workplace safety practicesExperience in supporting estimating, quoting, and business development activitiesPMP certification is advantageousFamiliarity with project management tools like Procore, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Bluebeam, or Raken is beneficialAdditional InformationRegional travel required, with occasional overnight staysCompany-provided vehiclePotential for bonuses, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and health coverageNo visa sponsorship available
