Distinguished Technologist [Remote]

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Distinguished Technologist based in the United States.

This senior-level role sits at the intersection of technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and customer advisory within large-scale strategic pursuits.
You will act as a trusted technical authority, shaping complex solutions that span hybrid cloud, data center, and public cloud environments.
The role combines deep industry insight with hands-on architectural leadership to influence high-value enterprise decisions.
You will work closely with account teams and executive stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable technology strategies.
A strong focus is placed on innovation, thought leadership, and the ability to guide long-term technical direction across key accounts.
This is a highly visible position where your expertise directly impacts customer success, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships.

Accountabilities:

• Serve as the primary technical advisor across strategic accounts, guiding architecture decisions and long-term solution direction
• Develop end-to-end enterprise architectures spanning hybrid cloud, on-premise infrastructure, and public cloud ecosystems
• Identify emerging industry trends and translate them into actionable strategies and innovative solution approaches
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, ISVs, and systems integrators
• Produce thought leadership content such as white papers, strategic presentations, and technical briefings for internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor and guide sales engineers, solution architects, and pursuit teams to strengthen overall technical execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations, solution design, and delivery feasibility
• Influence strategic decision-making by acting as a trusted voice in customer and internal executive discussions
• Support business growth by identifying and enabling new technical opportunities within existing accounts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 15+ years of experience in IT, enterprise architecture, consulting, or large-scale solution design and delivery
• Strong expertise in enterprise technology stacks, including hybrid cloud, data center, and cloud-native architectures
• Deep industry experience in Financial Services, High-Tech Manufacturing, Retail, or Services environments (5+ years preferred)
• Proven ability to design and deliver complex, innovative enterprise solutions aligned to business outcomes
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies and ability to translate them into practical business value
• Excellent communication and executive presence, with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary technical environments
• Ability to make independent architectural decisions in complex and ambiguous contexts
• Strong collaboration skills across global teams, partners, and enterprise customers
