We remain committed to providing top quality products, service, and value to our customers.In the Warehouse Associate role you will be responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient handling of material in the warehouse. In this role you will operate various types of material handling equipment in a warehouse where the temperatures range from -10° to 70°F.Essential functions may include one or more of these job duties:Pick, wrap, stage and load outbound customer sales orders and warehouse to warehouse transfers.Support production by picking ingredient and packaging materials and placing them in the required staging locations.Receive inbound Purchase Orders and Warehouse Inventory transfers by using handheld RF guns to enter data into the Company computer system (JD Edwards).Maintain accurate on hand inventory by performing various inventory control functions.Support the Company's food safety standards by maintaining good housekeeping in the Warehouse and by always following the GMP guidelines.Maintain good communication and act with a sense of urgency when supporting other departments within the Company.Make safety your top priority by following all safety rules and procedures.Competencies:Attention to detail and strong organizational skillsEffective communication skillsBasic math skillsAdaptability and problem-solvingAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentTeamwork and collaborationReliability and punctualityWork environment:Work on the warehouse floor with exposure to machinery noise and varying temperatures, including freezer environments (-10°F) to dry warehouse environments (70°F)Physical demands:Prolonged standing and walking on concrete floorsProlonged standing and driving warehouse material handling equipmentFrequent bending, lifting, and twistingAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Position type:Full-TimeWork hours:Varying shifts, with potential for overtime and weekend work based on production needsTravel:No travel required, with potential travel between warehouses within the regionRequired education & experience:None specifiedPreferred education & experience:1-2 years of warehouse experience1-2 years of experience in food manufacturingTraining in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), basic allergen handling, food defense, and HACCPExperience operating material handling equipment, including stand-up reach trucks and ride-on pallet jacksCompensation:The typical starting salary range for this position is $20.00-$21.50 / hour. Several factors, including skills, experience, education, certifications, and the location of the job will determine the actual pay offered. The salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for associates in these positions.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
