Position Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to job sites in a timely manner. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

- Safely operate a delivery truck to transport goods to designated locations

- Load and unload merchandise from the vehicle using a forklift or manual methods

- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries

- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance

- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any issues or delays

Position Requirements

-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

-CDL B

-Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures

-Ability to operate a forklift and handle heavy loads

-Proficient in driving vehicles with manual transmission

-Knowledge of route planning and navigation systems

-Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
