Travel PTA - Skilled Nursing Facility

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Long Term Care skilled nursing facility position requiring 1+ years of PTA experience and LTC/Rehab setting experience. Requirements Active PTA license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required LTC or Rehab setting experience required 1 reference required for consideration Responsibilities Long Term Care (LTC) skilled nursing facility setting within the Physical Therapy unit Caseload mix typically ranges from 7-12 patients per day depending on evaluations scheduled Group therapy is utilized to support productivity Each therapist is provided a dedicated device for documentation Day shift, 8-hour schedule, Monday through Friday Flexible start time between 6AM and 10AM, as long as consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehab No weekend work required unless a holiday falls during the week, in which case hours may be made up on the weekend No on-call requirements Compact license accepted Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under PT supervision Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising PT to adjust treatment plans Document all treatment information and session minutes in the electronic documentation system per regulatory requirements Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings Participate in required facility and company trainings and in-services Assist supervising PT with obtaining necessary DME or supplies May supervise and support PTA students under PT guidance Adhere to APTA standards and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics No more than 7 days of requested RTO permitted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-755346 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
