TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Crown Point, Indiana, 46307!

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM Must-Have Skills/Experience: Labor and delivery management of labor Experience with Fetal Scalp Electrode (FSE) Experience with Intrauterine Pressure Catheter (IUPC) Epidural care Description: The unit includes 11 labor beds and 16 postpartum beds. There are 2 operating rooms and 2 recovery bays. Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:3 during labor and 1:6 to 1:8 in postpartum. Equipment includes fetal monitoring, infant warmers, FSE, and IUPC. Experience in labor and delivery as well as postpartum is essential. Candidates must be team-oriented, hardworking, and able to manage emergency situations. A willingness to step in to help others on the unit is required. Patients include laboring mothers, antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and gyne surgery patients.
