Senior Mechanical Engineer – Robotics & Advanced Infrastructure Bay Area, CA | Full-Time An exceptionally well-funded, high-growth technology company is expanding its hardware team in the Bay Area. The business is developing large-scale physical systems to solve critical infrastructure challenges created by the rapid expansion of AI. This role offers the opportunity to own complex machinery from initial concept through prototype, manufacturing and real-world deployment. Responsibilities: Design complex mechanical and robotic systems from concept through production. Develop mechanisms, structural assemblies and motion systems for demanding applications. Produce detailed CAD, engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation. Build and test prototypes, solve failures and rapidly incorporate findings into future designs. Requirements: 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience within robotics, automation, vehicles or complex machinery. Strong CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis and design-for-manufacturing experience. Experience designing mechanisms involving motors, gearing, bearings and structural components. Proven experience taking hardware from initial design through manufacturing and physical testing.
