description :

Facilitates physician's performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile field.

requirement :

Day Shift - 5x8's. On call schedule: Over a 6 week period - 2-3 weekday and at minimum of 1, 12 hour on call for weekend. Max of 2Education and Work Experience:Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: RequiredRelevant acute care experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredCertified Surgery Technician (CST) certification or Tech in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) certification: Required
